I am looking to buy a used boat. I dont want much, basically, I’m just looking to get in the water to do some fishing, and maybe some skiing. I know I want around 20 foot and I want a bowrider, but what sorts of things do I look for? Engine? Outdrive? The only thing I know about boats is that they float. Any advise on buying my first boat would be appreciated.

Everywhere on the internet all the *********** sites, ebay, etc I am finding that you can only get 60 foot ropes for towing tubes with your boat. I find longer than that all the way up to 100 feet for skiing, or wakeboarding, the ropes with the handles on the end instead of the loop…. I am wondering if there is anywhere I can get a longer rope than 60 feet for a tube, or what other options I have?

We are not planning on tubing, skiing, anything crazy like that (i obviously know that is off limits). But I’m 29 weeks, live near a lake, own a boat, and am dying to get out on the water. I am not nervous about getting nauseous, or anything like that. I just wanna make sure that the motion of the waves rocking the boat are safe for the baby. We just wanna go out, relax and maybe take a swim, thats it. Please no smarta$$ answers.
